Please help us make Born To Make History: A Yuri!!! on ICE Fan Gathering 2 wow, amazing! The event we hope to execute is exciting and ambitious, and we need your help! We can’t do what we do without you, so we thank you in advance for your interest in sharing your time and talent with us at #yoiconph2018.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
    Please do not sign up if you are 17 years old and below.
  • Must be available for the volunteer’s assembly and orientation on March 10 2018, Saturday, 12:00pm to 3:00pm, at the Bayanihan Center
    Please do not sign up if you are not available on this date.
  • Must be available from 8:00am to 9:30pm on the day of the event, March 18 2018, Sunday
    Please do not sign up if you need to leave early or arrive later.
  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Responsive, communicative, trustworthy
  • Quick thinker with leadership qualities
  • Punctual and works without whining

Volunteer Roles Available

  • Registration Table
    – Facilitate the entry of pre-registered attendees by confirming names and IDs.
    – Accept and safeguard payment of walk-in attendees.
  • Line Management
    -Monitor the flow of people entering the event.
    – Signal the end of lines or pauses in sale or entry.
  • Merchandise Management
    – Assist with the sale of the merchandise of Phil Mizuno, Joel Minas, Barimor Cosplay, and #yoiconph2018.
    – Distribute any pre-ordered and pre-paid merchandise.
    – Accept and safeguard the payment made for any merchandise sold on site.
    – Update inventory sheets accordingly, ensuring that all cash and merchandise is accounted for.
  • Amenities Area
    – Assist with the various amenities of the event (e.g. photo area, water sale, baggage counter, etc.)
    – Facilitate the lines, if the need arises.
    – Accept and safeguard payment, if the need arises.
  • Exhibitor Assistance
    – Facilitate exhibitor ingress and egress.
    – Assist exhibitors with their requests and needs.
    – Monitor the halls to check exhibitors are complying with the event’s exhibitor guidelines and escalate any concerns to the organizers as needed.
  • Panelist Assistance
    – Provide logistical support to the panelists presenting at #yoiconph2018 (e.g. props, equipment, personal items, etc.)
  • Ushers and Stagehands
    – Assist panelists, guests, hosts, and organizers with any pressing needs.
    – Run errands and execute tasks as needed.
  • Documentation – Photos
    – Take photographs of the guests and attendees of the meet and greet sessions.
    – Be available from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm.
    – Promptly turn over all raw files after the event and select edited photos two weeks after the event.
    – Must have own equipment (e.g. DSLR, etc.)
  • Documentation – Videos
    – Take videos of panels, program, and the entire event. This is a roving or stationary position.
